Ahh, the joys of being back on BUNT. Was just offered Encarnacion Fire in exchange for Rodgriguez SNB (94), Furcal SNB (116), Trout ASG MVP (170, Wright Red (76), Machado Breaking Out (96), and Wright (43) Ramirez (50), Pedroia (73) and Ellsbury (85) Fired Up.

I'm the same way. I don't report for the commons with a hidden boost but I took the time screen shot and email Bunt for the first time ever. I think that's exactly right. I've seen commons with a hidden boost and commons with a hidden Int'l Stars. That's a carelessness and attention issue. I think it's a " shame on me" kind of scam, and I don't report people for that. The lying about the VIP card is a "shame on you" scam. I disagree with both those statements. Someone initiating a con on you and you falling for it, or failing to notice is not a shame on you, it's on the dishonest &@$%^*(%$# I also disagre with not reporting them. If you let them get away with it, you are responsible for anyone else they may get with their scam. The KW issue has shown us all that Topps does read reports. Maybe we can get them to get rid of these guys. |

Maybe we can get them to get rid of these guys. To be honest, I'd be more pissed at myself for not checking the trade before accepting rather than the kid that offered me the trade. Also not sure it's a con. It's certainly underhand but it's similar to financial contracts. Check everything before you sign/accept and read the small print, or in this case, check all of the cards. I mean, they aren't lying....the cards are there for you to see.....I'm not defending the practice, I'm just suggesting it's very much avoidable with simple due care and diligence. A con in Bunt is generally and sadly instigated mostly by Topps themselves. Oh and people that advertise a card has a reward when it doesn't or that they have promo codes (ala 2013). That's a con. Those people get reported and I do that happily. |

Got two different requests today both wanted me to give: cespedes and longoria tier 1, fielder swapped, fielder silver star, and Seager AL POY. One guy offered me 5 2013 cards, and the other offered me green Chen. The second guy commented "free cards right?"

Maybe we can get them to get rid of these guys. By the way, I wanted to warn everyone - now with Fired Up 2, there are a lot of shady traders out there trying to sneak in Fired Up 1 into trades. I had one guy offer me a Tanaka sig for a few of my Fired Up 2 dupes ... and Verlander Fired Up (92). If you're not paying attention, you have the potential to lose the rarer Fired Up 1 cards. |
