Woah what kinda card is that It looks just like a base card but just a different picture. Has it always been that the cards we get in bunt are the same as the actual cards? If so my mind has imploded Win Twins! |

Got it in a pack I bought at Walmart. On a whim the one in the set is him sliding into home not sure

There are also variations of inserts. There are two (as far as I know) different variations of each physical "Future is Now" inserts. Looks like Trout and another player are coming out in BUNT tomorrow. |

No problem Lee, I use that site a lot. I find that it's well run. I believe the Trout you pulled is the hard one to find ... congrats.

Literally pick it up on a whim it was setting by itself in a bunch of reds items. I have been out of the real card biz for awhile. Maybe this is a sign. But my wife would kill me. |

Yeah those topps variations are pretty tough to pull out of those retail packs... Variations, numbered cards and signatures are the only cards that have any value these days. If you want an actual (and not an inflated price guide) idea what they're going for, check ebay (search ebay 2014 topps trout variation)

But my wife would kill me. lol, I use to collect hardcore back in the late 80's, and a couple of years ago I got back into it. I can't afford to buy to much (packs aren't thirty five cents anymore, lol). My wife tolerates it, but I'm also not spending a lot of money on cards either. Funny thing is last week I bought a pack at Target and pulled the "sparkle" variant of trout. Just and FYI, ebay has your trout listed from $30 to $100 dollars. |

how does something available from walmart for about 10 to 50 cents per card sell for 70 bucks? and where in walmart are these cards
