NEW BHK CONTEST!! 1 WEEK ONLY!!

The time has come for another BHK Contest! This one involves the site more than any other. The contest will benefit the sites management and organization as well as help your card collection. In the Bunt, Kick and Huddle trade sections, the BHK staff has noticed a large amount of old threads that are no longer in use and cluttering up the site. All participants will be competing to earn the most points. Here is how to score points:

1 point: For creating a thread in the Bunt, Huddle or Kick trade section. Once your thread/request is completed or filled, you must show proof with a screen shot of the accepted trade or drawn card in your collection. (Includes For Sale, Wanted, and Borrow sections ONLY)

1 point: If you are the user who helped someone complete a thread, you can also post a picture using of the trade. This will award you and the receiver 1 point each. It does matter who posts the screenshot of the trade. You will both receive 1 point if you are members on here.

1 point: If you have a previously created thread that is filled or completed before this contest began and you mark it as so, you will receive 1 point. This only applies to threads that were made before and filled before the contest began. If the thread was created during the contest, you will score 2 points as seen below.

2 points: Once your thread has been completed, you must edit the title of the thread to contain the words FILLED or SOLD. By doing this on your own thread, you will earn 2 points.

The winner(s) will be announced after the points are tallied. The 1st place winner will be able to select 2 of the following cards. The 2nd place finisher will get then get to pick his 2 cards.

Rules & Guidelines

The contest will run from Monday April 28th to Monday May 5th. (1 week)

I (billwill11), will be counting and totaling the points daily. You will know when your points have been added because I will have moved your thread to the archive section.

Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified and further action will be taken regarding your status on the site. Please do not ruin it for everyone by cheating. We are always watching.

It does not matter how many cards are being requested on the thread, only 1 point will be awarded per thread.

If several users help in one thread, than all of those users will be awarded a point provided proof is shown.

if you have any questions, please comment in this thread or message billwill11 in a personal message.

Update: I will fill in the prizes as soon as I can

if in the thread you are asking for more than one card do you get multiple points or just one? and if more than one person helps do they each get a point?

good questions. It doesn't matter how many cards you ask for in the thread, you will still get one point per thread. And yes, if several people help, then those people will get points if proof is shown.

This contest is a good way to reinforce the trade etiquette of marking something FILLED or active. Kudos Bill for putting this together. I think I may post something just to stimulate the trade market.

So I'm a little confused. I've made threads to borrow cards and people have done it so do I get a point if I was to have proof?

if you made it before the contest began the maximum you can get is 1 point for marking it as filled. This only applies to threads made before the start of contest. If it was made during the contest, you get 2 points for filling it .

Now, I have a thread in the Borrow section that I've been using to borrow and lend out cards. I planned on keeping it active so that I would only use 1 thread to do it and not create 5 threads a week for the new weekly coin inserts. Since you are the Moderator of that board, I should probably ask. Would you rather I kept all of it in the 1 thread set up I have now, or should I create the multiple threads and marked them as filled as they happen?

In the case you want me to keep the 1 thread setup, I'll be posting the tinypic photos in their of successful lends and all that.

I would say to keep that thread open, but for the purpose of the contest this week, it would be easier for me and others if you made seperate threads. And hey, more opportunities to get points right?

So I went through some old threads and marked them as filled because people have helped me. Although I don't have proof and can't get it because those trades don't show up anymore. What do I do?
