i was having a killer night until something happened with bunt. I was in the top 50-75 around 10ET then it happened! My BUNT app auto restarted. When restart it i come back to 0 plays remaining and the 0 is frozen and not reloading....i wait and wait and wait...still nothing. I restart. I come back to the reload bar at the top then BAM starts over but doesnt give me a play. Then if i left the app or the screen closed it would wipe out my reload time and restart at the beginning.
Its week 7 and still nothings right with BUNT!
ended the night with 4,133 good for #6 Tigers and #101 Overall (should be soooo much better)
Golf league tonight ...will be happy with 2000-3000 points tonight but most likely closer to 1500 is what i will get

Okay for whatever reason I'm having a hard time understanding the best way to score. Let me break it down of what I think it is and if someone can say yes or no that would be great!
Scenario #1: Lets say I start two pitchers, one plays at 6:00 and the other at 7:05. They both have good days and score me points. After they both play that night am I able to swap them out for a pitcher that plays at 10:05, keep my points from their starts AND get points for the new 10:05 pitcher? I assume this has to be done before the 10:05 pitcher starts playing? And I assume I have to wait for each play to reload before I can begin scoring, correct?
Scenario #2: I have two pitchers playing and one is getting rocked, I pull him right when he starts losing points. Can I then place him (after the play reload time) with another pitcher that is currently playing and get the points for the new pitcher I just put in? I know I don't get the points I lost back when I drop my old one, just looking to see if I can put a new one in and make up some of the negative?
I'm just confused as to how some of these people are scoring 40,000+ points. If you could help that would be great, thanks!

In regards to scenario #2, I figure I only get the point the new pitcher I just put in gets while he is starting for me? For example I can't put him in and expect to get all the point he has gotten so far in the night even before I started him.

You'll score points for the players only while you have them in your lineup. If they're not in your lineup, you want be affected by them. If you have "plays", you can move someone in and out of you lineup at ANY time.
First strategy, is to make sure you set you lineup early enough, so the 9 plays will have refreshed by game time.

Change your players you want to start out with NOW!! i changed mine 2 hours ago and I have only reloaded 4 plays.....this is going to make for a horrible points chase week if Topps cant sort things out

Thanks for the feedback. New question, should my play reloader reset each time my phone goes to sleep? I watch it reload then the phone goes to sleep, I turn it back on and its back to 0 and start reloading all over again?!

It seems as though the plays don't refresh when bunt is not the active app. If you have a play 50% refreshed, and you leave but, to go into mlb, (or some other app), you'll notice when you come back to bunt, the play that was 50% refreshed, is starting back at 0%.

Yes, that seems to be the case when your phone goes to sleep also. The refresh seems to get screwed up.

K glad its not just me then. I love the bunt game but I'm getting a bit frustrated with the amount of hiccups the scoring system keeps having. I almost think they made too overly complicated. Its kind of back firing on them. Ha hope they get it fixed soon since I finally know how to score points!

Top 5!? Very impressive! I can only dream of that one day. I'm moving my way up though;
Monday: 1,400 pts/Rank: 2,234 Tuesday: 4,848 pts/Rank: 1,023 Wednesday: 8,686 pts/Rank: 565
Soooo close to the top 500! Today should be interesting with the limited amount of pitchers available to use. I don't have the time or patience to use batters. Fingers cross I break into the top 500!!

Choose a few batters to throw in when you dont have anyone pitching.....even if they are not batting....try to go with 1B or Catchers first they get the most PO's and any points are good points or more of a "sure thing" player like Trout or Tulo if you stay on your pace you will easily make the top 500 for the week.
