Same here - I bought coins quick because I didn't want to miss out. Last time, there was one insert per pack. Today I bought two, got two worthless golds (better I guess than those that got silvers or worse) and then went to read up on what other people were pulling. I really feel ripped off, and Topps made a lot of people unhappy today.

I too thought it was an insert-only pack. Bought three before I figured it out. Molina GOLD, Tanaka GOLD, Samardja SILVER. Suck fest.
Cause I am dumb as bricks, I bought three more packs... Buehrle GOLD, Hechevarria GOLD, Bench TBT

I didn't buy any of these packs but I can understand everyone's frustration based on what I'm reading about past promotions being inserts only. And 7500 coins seems extremely high for what you are getting. However, I would LOVE to get some of the cards that you guys are pulling from this pack. Golds, Silvers and even some inserts? As long as they are active players, at least you got some good value there.

I almost bought one of these thinking it woudl be inserts and then saw all the people on bunt blowing up how bad the pulls were. I am sorry, but no dime coming from my wallet till they change this insert push and other crap. Last year was so better.. Who runs this now?? Its like a different game, and really sad.

I did the exact same thing, and I would not have purchased more coins if I had not believed that the pack would contain inserts. I sent an email to Topps requesting two things: 1. Refund the $50 I spent with the intention of obtaining "insert" style cards 2. Start to include exact possible contents and odds of every pack, including the odds of obtaining inserts. Currently odds of rarity are only included for some packs, and there is no available information about the odds for obtaining inserts besides signatures. My plan if they do not adequately respond to that email is to file a complaint with the BBB of NY and other relevant agencies anyone can think of. To me, this qualifies as bait and switch advertising. I would encourage anyone else who felt misled by this or other practices of Topps to do the same. This is the lowest of lows for them they wrap it in a pack that's used for inserts and say one card. Of course that happens after it refreshes and it started out as 10k Yep, not sure if anyone else noticed that but I definitely bought a pack at 10k before they changed it. |

I was excited for the Black Pack coming back. Made a few borrows from generous bunters for some point cards and I ended up with a Liarino gold. Thought that was bad, then I read what you guys got....really sucks. Wish they could ACTUALLY make a pack with ONLY INSERTS! I thought that was what the Black a Pack was. Guess I was wrong...
