If they release the Padres friar I would definitely trade for one, but no matter what, i'm not wasting my coins on these packs...Speaking of which has anyone opened any of these packs? haha i would love to have the phanatic but would never pay 15k. I don't even think i've ever had 15k at a time haha. I was thinking about spending some money today to get some packs but then was like 1.) What if my wife gets an email that i bought coins on an Iphone app -and- 2.) I didn't get to number 2, I was still thinking about number 1. PS-No disrespect to those who buy coins, spend it if you have it! Yeah, I have never had that much either lol. Similar to you, I don't spend any money on this app. I get around pretty well, but just like in real card collecting, to get what you want, you will need to put some $$ into it. Which in my opinion is totally fine, but not for rip offs like this 'Mascot Pack'. But we shouldn't worry, Wahoo and Seetheshiek (or whatever his name is) will take care of buying these packs for us, lol  |

I love how they bring this series back as a complete money grab. How much money do they need to make? I mean they have this, that whole black pack debacle and pack prices are weird this year. I'm only 15 so I'm not spending any money on this, last year and 2012 were fun because it wasn't centered around Topps turning huge profits. This year it's not that fun because it's just a money grab by yet another corporation who has turned majorly greedy. I'm not saying you should hate money or anything, but the quality of the product, support, aspects of the app and fan experience decline as a result of this. The fact that they are raking in this much money and they fail to give awards within a week, can take up to a month to reply to emails and the numerous bugs without a formal place to report them just makes BUNT not very enjoyable and a rather frustrating app to use. Sort of an off topic rant at Topps but I'm rather fed up with them. Why anyone would buy the mascot pack I cannot understand. It's like the lottery except tickets for the lottery aren't $20 to get completely ripped off, they're only a few bucks.

Well said philliephan. I really want the Bernie card( being he is on the pack) I assume he will be included. But I see that will be a joke trying to get one. Will wait for later in the yr.

I opened one pack as an experiment and, for some ungodly reason, pulled one. There's a market for these as evidenced by the amount of trade offers I've received but it's definitely not worth the hassle.

Alan Trammel Tigers card is the best offer I have received for it. Often times it's mid-tier inserts.
