Time to add Ryan Dempster to the list, announced his official retirement today Added dempster and westbrook Dempster said he's not officially retiring. He just said he's not pitching this year. "The time is right. I’m not saying retirement but I definitely won’t be playing this season.” He's just taking a year off I think.

You just said that he didn't call off a 2015 return. No offense taken bud. Keep contributing to this thread bud. I was just debating on whether or not he should stay on the list or not.

I don't think they will make the cards b&w because that b&w was a special series in 2012 because Adam Kennedy retired but his card isn't b&w

I thought Roy Halladay is too. Halladay already retired, there is only one Halladay card in the game and hasn't gone B&W yet. I highly doubt Halladay will return based on the length of this career and the fact that he signed with the Blue Jays to retire, but who knows. Has Topps confirmed that they will continue to mark retired players with B&W? espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/10108609/roy-halladay-retires-toronto-blue-jay

The general consensus is that Paul Konerko (CWS) will retire after 2014

The general consensus is that Paul Konerko (CWS) will retire after 2014 Konerko said (before the 2014 season) that he will re-sign with CHI for one year and then retire.

Not a big deal unless you're like a hardcore Reds/Nats fan, but I think Bill Bray recently retired.
