as ive written many times before, if you dont plan on keeping this card, today and tomorrow are your best times to actively and aggressively try to trade or sell it away. the value wont be any higher than it is today. i have yet to find a card that has actually RISEN in value after the first week of release. the only one that comes to mind is the kershaw sig. sure it was crazy during the first week but ive actually seen that card start to climb a little in value. its certainly way outside the range for a 250 count sig (its 2x the fielder and he's at 200). helps that he's playing and probably the hottest pitcher out there. come series 2 bonus time, this will be the one to have.
as for the 1st edition mookie. it falls into the same category as any of the inserts in the 250 range. ala kershaw nono. about a $20-25 value (maybe a touch less b/c its a retired player). so right now, you'd want to get a little more value for it. might even be able to sneak in a sig as high as tanaka since he's hurt - he's in the $20-25 range right now.
hope that helps.
