This whole thing is pulling the wool over our eyes in my opinion. If I were Topps, I'd start with the worst news (1 account per device), then say, "okay guys we'll find a way to let you combine 4 (seems completely arbitrary) accounts." They've known they were consolidating accounts for a long time. Woody posted about it before huddle was released. I see this as a way to improve relations with community by acting like they made a change to help us, when I'd think this was the plan all along. Yeah the worst thing about this is how Topps makes it sound like it's a good thing. Do they actually consider this "Enhanced Game Play"? Do they think people like this? They need to say "listen boys, unfortunately we are limiting everyone to 1 account per device, yeah it sounds bad but as compensation, here's the ability to trade up to 9-1 and we will combine at least 4 accounts ourselves starting tomorrow. They screw around with us like this and I don't think 1 comment in that news thread is positive. Only good thing is that it may slightly reduce the selling of accounts. |

... and they don't dream up a 'transfer app' in a week or two. I'm sure it's been works on for a while. They want to look like they're giving into our demands, giving us a concession, but that was their roll-out plan. Say one account per device, then back track 30 minutes later with this transfer app. Like you guys said, don't screw with us, just lay the facts out on the table and be done with it.

I don't understand why they treat us like were idiots. Referring to the post by chim and old Grady. Call the article what it is rule changes lay it out straight on what to happen. Going about it the way they did really is disappointing. And I'm still waiting on good news.
By the way did topps mike call us scammers see pics.

To me that statement says were just trying to figure out how to get rid of you leftovers. Low blow . if you didn't do this type of thing you would spend hundreds of dollars for barley making a set trust me I know from experience.
Topps u created that culture by allowing it to go on. Should have put tools in place so that couldn't happen

To me that statement says were just trying to figure out how to get rid of you leftovers. Low blow . if you didn't do this type of thing you would spend hundreds of dollars for barley making a set trust me I know from experience. Topps u created that culture by allowing it to go on. If they came out initially and said "we're changing the rules this year", and we'll allow you to transfer 5 accounts to one, there'd be less fuss. Don't say it's about scamming. I'm sure they can perm suspend a device today. So they can stop scamming today, by blocking devices. If they want to change things, be honest. TOPPS is far from being transparent about this. |

. . . and the merging of four accounts into your main, totals five accounts. This is what was legal per device last year. So they could have marketed this as "In the new improved app, we're allowing you to merge your five accounts into the one that will be allowed, blah blah blah". The entire announcement could have had a totally different feel to it. Instead, it came across as "screw you". They need a PR person to help out . . .

The thing is they allowed alt acc up to 5 if they were worried about people generating coins they should have made them all onetime payouts. Or created a rule in the software that only allowed the payout one time.
