are you going to get involved in borrowing for coin cards? at the end of the day, whether you spend nothing or spend some on coins to open packs - as long as you follow the "math" and basically trade every "new" (within the first 2 days of release) sig/insert you get for an overpay, you should always come out ahead. good luck! Yes, I will try to borrow for awards now and then. Thanks for the tip, I have noticed that people overpay for new cards. Most recently where I pulled a Golden Moments, and got offered a sig for it, so thats something I will keep in mind. Thanks! |

There haven't been good packs for sale for awhile. I try to get good points cards, so I look at pack "value" in terms of # of super rare cards expected per 1000 coins spent. Discounted twitter packs were good, but the best (other than maybe the one they give you after you first buy, which I didn't remember to track) was the Jumbo packs, which were discontinued about a week ago. They were such a great deal! Since then even with the 25% discount the other day literally nothing has been half as good as the Jumbo packs. Oh, also the "Super Bonus" might have been there, but they didn't reveal the odds (and I didn't buy coins to see). I hope they bring the Jumbos back. I also hope you find that last Padres card you're looking for!  |

I also hope you find that last Padres card you're looking for! Thanks for the tips. I found the jumbo packs to be really good points packs as well, and at 4,500 coins that was a hell of a deal. I only bought two and ended up with 6 golds. I think my favorite pack was definitely the midnight pack. You would get at least a gold a pack, if not two or three, and inserts were not hard to come by in those. Midnight on the east coast is 9:00 here, so i didn't even have to stay up late to get some. I hope they bring those back. And thanks for wishing me good luck on that last Padres card, it was the first card I wanted when I started bunt, and I am still looking for it  Hopefully I can send the right offer soon!! |
