Do the cards gain value even as even if they are not sets? Is Trout and Felix value going to increase (once sold out) over the years? I'm new and I see a lot of trade offers going on for 2014 cards but very little for 2013.

pulled a Trout, Romo, Wainwright, Uehara, and Hosmer.. what are the final counts gonna be? anyone know? I dumped mine and it's my opinion you should too before the new counts come out. As of the start of today, the card counts were as follows: Hernandez: 104 Trout: 113 Wainwright: 185 Uehara: 233 Weaver: 211 Darvish: 213 Harper: 226 Hosmer: 252 Romo: 232 There were around 18,500 competition packs opened today since Topps Mike lost by 1,500 and I think they stopped. Let's say that the odds of pulling a FU in a pack were 50:50 (which I think might be on the low side but let's be conservative). That means there are 9,250 new FU in circulation not including people who opened the packs today. Just using the ratios of what's been opened so far, the new card counts would be: Hernandez: 648 Trout: 704 Wainwright: 1152 Uehara: 1451 Weaver: 1314 Darvish: 1327 Harper: 1408 Hosmer: 1570 Romo: 1445 This is just raw guessing math but yeah... ouch. I hope they switched weight a bit so there will be less of the Trouts/Felix and more of the Romo/Hosmer but we just don't know at this point. And again, that's without counting people who opened the actual packs today. It's also not including people who will open them in the future OR if they super discount the pack in a fire sale. Now... are you getting offers in line with a 100 count insert or a 600 count insert? If you can get even close to the value that the cards had before the competition pack today, in my personal opinion you TAKE IT AND RUN. |

Miles pack went to 0 as we'll. I pulled 5 romo. Seems the uncommon were coming out pretty easy I avg almost 2 inserts per pack.
