So, I started playing Bunt a bit over a month ago, but never got into playing for pts because I don't have the cards to get enough pts to be awarded a BoB card. That is, until they announced the new green BoB cards for placing 1001-5000, which I think I can definitely do. Right now, my strategy is to look at the probable starters and put them in, and switch them out if they're losing too many points after a few innings. I was wondering if you guys had any tips on how to get the silver and gold SPs that everybody's looking for. Thanks for any help!

You dont need to have gold and silver if you plan on playing for 1001-5000 place i honestly think that reds and a few silvers will do the trick stock up on as many cheap reds as you can like Cueto and such. 5000 place shouldnt be too hard if you are doing that

Oh, I thought it'd be tougher since I think more people want to go for the new cards. Thanks for the advice, guys!

In interested to see how much that changes the dynamic at the lower levels. I've been able to finish top 2000 on my backup account with mostly commons and minimal monitoring.

If you don't have 9 pitchers that are playing, play catchers and 1b's cuz they get put outs

I'd like to second what star1sone said about not needing lots of high rarities. I had very very few golds the first time I snuck into the top 1000. I was actually trading away golds to get multiple quality red/silver pitchers. With a small collection, three red aces may be better than one gold.
As I said in another thread though, it does seem to be getting tougher to stay in the top 1000. More people playing and more people getting good at it!
Good luck!

I have a question... What do you have to be ranked to get these cards? I usually score about 2-3 k points a week with silvers and golds but I never get extra coins from this or cards. What rank do i have to be overall or is it by team?

What rank do i have to be overall or is it by team? With the new BoB cards that they've introduced, you only have to be ranked above 5000. It's not that hard; it's my first week playing for points and I'm around rank 2300.

Above 5000 points? Hmm okay I am almost there every week... I usually just put the starting pitchers and people I know who are on hot streaks... 5000 points here I come!

On the home page, there's your point total, then it shows your rank among your friends, fans of the same team, and among every player. The rank among very player is what counts for BoB cards.
