Why, because that is the trend on the Topps sites, this is right in line with all of the insert packs on Bunt

Why did they make three different sets of packs? All this will do is make certain leagues, and therefore cards, much more common than others. Example: Everybody wants EPL, so they will spend all of their coins on EPL cards. Hardly anyone seems to want Bundesliga, so hardly anyone will by those packs. The result? EPL cards are much more common than Bundesliga, making Bundesliga maybe harder to find and more expensive. The reason? Why would I wanna open packs & get MLS cards if I only follow & collect EPL cards? And vice verse. I like the idea, great for topps to expand to other lges....BRAVO! |

But then those EPL cards would be so much more worthless than the other leagues. They should just put all of the cards in the same pack (maybe different packs with higher odds for each league?), so that way a certain league isn't much more rare than another.

PTS players are buying all 3 because of players like Dempsey from MLS and Robben from Bundesliga. While the overall caliber of the MLS is not up to speed with BPL, players who are good enough to play in BPL but choose to stay in MLS ( Keane, Zusi, Besler, etc) excel and could score more PTS since there is no 'penalty' for playing in a different league. And I am sure Topps will find a way to balance purchases and entice players to get into MLS and Bundesliga. |

I'm liking the separate lge packs...it's making me pay attention to MLS this season ( which I never really have ) I don't separate packs to do that, if the cards were intermingled, we'd probably still pay attention for the points. Saving up coins for a Bundesliga pack or two so I have some players for those matches. |
