What does everyone think about the new app requiring iOS7? Unfortunately, I think it's going to force some folks, (a lot of them the younger crowd), out of BUNT that have older devices than cannot be upgraded to iOS7. But, I guess the new app may need the horsepower that the old apple devices don't have. Hopefully this won't affect many.

Let alone an iPhone. So I bought an IPod 4 with my own money and now I'm looking into a 5. I was going to wait for the 6 to come out but I might get one sooner then planned.

It's tuff for some and hope they find way but I say it's not they wanted to get rid of bunters. U just have to think of the coding has to go into the app plus some features would not be done without iOS 7. Is what I figure

Looks like I'll have to go out unless they let me transfer my main account to my Mom's iPad, it is connected to my Facebook and the Facebook App on her iPad is not linked to my account so I can't do it myself I'd need Topps to do it for me.

You may want to look into selling your older device, to help pay for a newer one. Just a thought.

Hi guys. Yes I'm still around. Personally I don't want to upgrade my iOS but looks like there's little choice. Not sure if ill get the new iphone before relaunch. For those of u holding out hope I downloaded kick briefly to do something but was severely limited as to what I could with old iOS. I thought I heard something about an android platform but haven't heard much about that.

I think it's apples rules that if u relaunch or create new app it has to compatible with ios7 so either topps didn't make backwards compatible or they had no choice but to keep it moving forward from ios7 up.

Well, unless they do come out with an Android version, I will be forced into temporary Bunt retirement.... I might come back at some point, but it will likely be at least a year before that happens... This does not mean I'm trading everything on my account, just that I will not be on Bunt this year... I will likely stick around on here, at least for a while to keep up with what is going on, but that is about the extent of my participation in Bunt for the year.

Good info Leo. Given that iOS adoption is > 75%, and what many apps will be moving to, and iOS8 is probably being worked on by Apple now, providing backward compatability for iOS6 has limited returns for the development effort required. Additionally, older devices may last the cpu power to run newer apps. At first I thought this was a dumb move, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense.

Yea it's the world we live in consumers demand new products more quickly and in Order to keep pace u can only look forward not backward. The ones that lose out are kids who can't go get the latest thing or at least stay up to date with iOS capability.
