Same here. Crazy that the Jets paid that much for him, especially since they have an incapable QB and not many options on offense. |

I was never a big jets fan, they had those 2 good years, the infamous "butt fumble" and now a .500 team at best. maybe this is a new beginning? i highly doubt it though unless they pick up a few other fa players.

Trade for Mallett? I got nothing. Sucks to be a Texan fan. Most worst teams of the league improve in the offseason. We are the exception! If the Texans trade for Mallet without giving up too much and then draft Clowney, they'll have a nice little core going. Hopefully they can re-sign Ben Tate too. I think Mallet has as good as upside as any of the rookie QBs in this draft. The word here in Houston is that the Texans will most likely keep Schaub on the roster because of the lack of talent on the open market and his cap number. Ben Tate is as good as gone once he gets an acceptable contract. The Texans need to fill about 7-8 starting positions (QB, TE, OT, DT, DE, MLB, OLB) with only about 13M in cap room at the moment. Tate is considered too much of a luxury. |

Panthers lost half of their receiving corps right there. Munnerlyn is gone now too. Not looking good in Carolina.
