Anyone else sick of them? Too many of them. Jeter is one of the most humble players off the field, and as good on the field. 5 championships, first in many yankee category's and top ten in runs and hits. Also, arguably the best shortstop of all time. See too many haters of Jeter around. Not all of them, and don't wanna be offensive, but most are Phillies and Mets fans. Let me know what you think.

I don't hate Jeter, but I feel as if he has been slightly overrated over the past few years. I think it is a more "I hate the Yankees" thing with most people....

Not a hater, I just state the facts. He is the yankees all time leader in GIDP, he is not the superstar fielder everyone made him out to be and he is not an elite hitter. He was getting paid way too much for a 40 yr old below average SS. Again, no hate, just facts

I think part of the hate is a backlash from the lavish attention he's been getting this entire season from the media and MLB. Mariano received some of this attention last season but it wasn't at such a magnitude as Jeter's farewell. I mean, we get it, he's one of the greatest Yankees to play the game and was a generational player for them. At the same time, do we really need every last thing the man touches to be turned into some massive Steiner Sports auction or limited edition nonsense? It's a bit much and this is coming from a die-hard Yanks fan.

I also think Paul Konerko should've received more attention to his farewell, as well. But I respect Jeter, and believe he is the greatest shortstops to ever play the game.

I'd take Konerko over Jeter any day. Jeter was a great singles hitter. Konerko hit over 400 HR's and could kill you with an XBH every time he was up

What about Dunn? Doesn't have a high average but 400+ HRs

I'm sure one his many of his one night girl friends will vouch for his 'integrity', humbleness, and, generosity from his 'morning after' gifts.

What about Dunn? Doesn't have a high average but 400+ HRs Dunn said he might come back if a playoff team will pay him enough.

Better than Trammal, Smith, Ripken JR., HONUS WAGNER?! He's a great shortstop, but not the best, but that's why everyone hates him right now, he should have a farewell tour, he should get some recognition, but I think fans went a little overboard on this. Mo didn't get this much recognition, and I blame some of this hate on bunt. Every set seems to have a Jeter in it, there's too many! 3 Jeter sigs!? Really?! It was just so frustrating, especially when players chased after a card that had a super low count and wouldn't score many points.
