Gosh I hope the Pirates don't overpay for Russell Martin. I am part of the small minority who would not be ticked if we can't resign him.

Gosh I hope the Pirates don't overpay for Russell Martin. I am part of the small minority who would not be ticked if we can't resign him. if bidding gets too high they might what to approache LaRoche and get Hundley or someone behind the plate. Martin is inconsistent and doesn't deserve much over 8 million. |

Adam Lind got traded to Brewers for Marco Estrada. When I heard about this I got so sad ;( Lind is my favorite player and the Jays are my favorite team. A couple years removed from 30 HRs and 100 RBIs and is now a cap casualty... |

Lind had that great season in 2009, 5 seasons have passed. Bottom line is we need a good free agent and a good releiver (Estrada) more than we need a platoon guy. |

I feel that Lind will flourish with the Brewers, but the 7.5 mill will most likely be spent on melky or relievers so either way Lind had to go ;( Projected Outfield Without Melky Projected Infield without lind CF: Gose (Rasmus ain't coming back) 1B/DH: EE and Smoak RF: Bautista 2B: Izturis/Goins LF:  Pompey?
