What technology to you use to track the sales? Do you do what CardTarget and VintageCardPrices do, or is it done completely manually? I perform the tracking process manually via spreadsheets and then I import the transactions into the database that is searchable on the site. I wish there were a way to automate it more effectively, but the reality is that it takes a human who understands BUNT to enter the title, year, set, count, etc. of a card correctly, especially since most sales listings do not have complete or accurate information. Further steps exist to unearth sales prices of "best offer accepted" cards too. For now, I am spending about an hour per day doing this, which is manageable, but certainly not my plan as things (hopefully) continue to grow. I have also started to launch my first few series of regular content if anybody wants to check them out: Feedback of all kinds welcomed and appreciated! <3 DCV That's dedication to the cause!

Noticed that you missed that one

I've listed some of my extra gold base for 10 cents IMO that's a bad idea (learned from experience). PayPal takes 2.9% from that. The best thing to do would be listing in lots of at least 10 cards at $.99 for the lot.

Luckily I haven't listed very many Actually, you are losing money. Paypal take 2.9% plus 30 cents. 3% of 10 cents is 9.7 cents. Subtract 9.7 by 30. You are losing 20.3 cents for every gold base you sell.

If you are using eBay, they also take a 10% final value fee

If you are using eBay, they also take a 10% final value fee I don't think if it's as low as $0.10 but still, they'd be losing money.

You are losing 20.3 cents for every gold base you sell. Via www.paypal.com/us/webapps/helpcenter/helphub/article/?solutionId=FAQ690&m=HTQ"There's no fee to use PayPal to purchase goods or services. However, if you receive money for goods or services (such as from selling an item on eBay), the fee for each transaction is 2.9% plus $0.30 USD of the amount you receive. "

Ive found its not worth the hassle and fees to sell anything through ebay unless its going to sell for more than $1.50....you get taxed to many spots down the line.
I just bought a physical card on ebay for $0.06 & free shipping....this guy lost nearly $1 trying to rid himself of a Chris Webber RC.
