Very disappointed in the Cardinals. Cishek and Broxton were ok pickups but hate the Moss deal. Kaminsky was gonna be good Yeah, the Indians got a huge steal for Moss. I assumed they were going to go after Adam Lind, but they went after Moss instead. I much rather would have had Lind. Didn't want to give up Kaminsky at all though |

I'd say the Blue Jays, Astros, and Royals made the most substantial additions to their ball clubs. However, the Mets and Dodgers made some nice additions as well. The Reds, Phillies, Rockies, and Tigers all got back nice prospects in trading away their big name players.

Overall, it was one of most active trade deadlines in a while.
Imagine if the Padres had actually done something and found landing spots for Tyson Ross, Ian Kennedy, Andrew Cashner, Craig Kimbrel, Joaquin Benoit, Jedd Gyorko, Will Venable, James Shields, and Justin Upton. Would've been even more active.

They did get back Hector Olivera, but he's not worth giving up Alex Wood and Jose Peraza for. Dodgers won this trade by a landslide. With the largest payroll in MLB, they didn't really need any help or great trades like this one... Was hoping that the Dodgers might include Alex Wood in a potential David Price trade, but Daniel Norris is good haha. |
