I got back into these apps this past summer after quitting sometime in 2017 because of all the series, colors, inserts, etc overload. It's very much still that way, though now with diamonds one no longer can really collect everything if they're not paying (unlike, say, in 2014). It's still a fun app and a discussion site would still be quite useful for community trades, card 'value' discussion, and news.
For instance, this last minute orange wheel base craze drives me crazy. Why give them a '2.2' boost when there are no games to play in 2018 anymore? Unless these are rolling over to 2019? Are these cards more important than golds? How much longer do we have to get them with one wheel collection per day (for us freebie members)? Yes, been thinking about this too much, obviously...

I'm glad you are getting back into the apps and not just leaving them for good like a lot of people. I agree there are too many cards for free to play to collect! When this site was in its golden years (2012-15) we had lots of community engagement and discussion of card value, new happenings on the apps, as well as in the real life games. I would really enjoy making this that place again. Addressing the orange 2.2 prize wheel base. As far as i know they are 2018 base cards and will NOT be rolling over into 2019. That being said im assuming that we have until the beginning of the season to colect as many as we can before they update the app and change the prize wheel to 2019 base. In terms of value I believe that they are NOT worth any more than any other prize wheel card and definitely not close to gold base value. It would be worth noting in the future if you have a question about card value to please post something in the BUNT card value thread. |
