I remember I pulled a Kevin Millwood retired card (not the B/W one) in my first pack and ended up trading it for like Jeter sig on my first day. The retired cards weren't worthless like they are now. Because people thought eh were going b&w lol

One nice feature TOPPS added half way through the 2013 season was the "What I Need" and "What They Need" in the trade sort/filters. Up until then, it was difficult to determine what you needed from someone that you were trading with. Also, the "Ignore Trades" addition helped a little with weeding out Users that continually spam you with bad trades, hoping you'll accidentially accept one. The "Scammer Award" never seemed to take off and be very useful. I had at least 50 backup accounts and was trying to get the complete set, so i had to go back and forth between all my accounts to see what cards i needed. i got the complete set but that was before the "what I need" sorter

Holy cow, that's kind of excessive, don't you think?

Holy cow, that's kind of excessive, don't you think? It was excessive ill admit it.. I made a ton a twitter and emails so i could get as many accounts before it was blocked. So after it was limited to 5, i could still go on all the accounts and get all the daily bonuses . but sadly for me i got a new phone so now i just have my 1 account.

I remember when I joined, I was totally clueless, I joined midsummer after the all-star game. I didn't get too many good cards to start with. I just needed hots, thats all I traded for. I got off to a good start, and then became a factor when one fateful day on huddle, I pulled a Andre Johnson Franchise hero. I traded it for a canada votto, scherzer sig, and another gallery. I expanded off this, and then October came around. I had good cards, but now needed coin cards. I got some, and was a great factor. Then, I pulled diamonds, and if everyone remembers, the diamonds went crazy at the beginning. Best trade I ever made, I got dr cano, A gallery, and scherzer sig. I did trivia (inspired by toppsmike and robmcclamb). Thats how I got to where I am today.

Very early in the season, when you got coins when people liked your comments, it was very annoying. All you would see on trade talk is "please like" and "like if you like baseball" and stuff like that

I joined at the end of July. The week I joined, the A's Century series came out and the last base cards went NFS (Stanton, Pujols, Puig, Cespedes). I had pulled Puig and Stanton in packs. Of course, I was dumb enough to trade them for hots, making me out of NFS. Eventually, I managed to get my hands on some ASG cards (which had value at the time) and I did okay. The biggest turning point for me was when the Gallery series came out. The first day, I pulled a Strasburg and a Sale gallery. That was when I really took off and became a decent bunter. A bad decision I made was not playing in playoffs. When the regular season ended, I stopped checking. My friend then convinced me to come back in early November, but by this point everyone else had gotten playoff sets and all the cards that came out during that time. So now, I have spent the entire winter trying to return to semi-prominence, and that leads me to now.

As a relative bunt newcomer (less than 3 weeks), I appreciate this little history section. So base cards would periodically go NSF throughout the season? That's interesting, I figured it was something they did after the season. I still can't figure out why there the rarity classifications are often misaligned with the card counts (random chance in the pack distribution algorithm I suppose).

The first card to go NFS was Yu Darvish.

I joined in late July but I thought that is was dumb and didn't play until my friend got it late August which is when I really started trying. I remember it took my forever to get good point cards and then I finally pulled trout and cutch in the same pack and I freaked out. The first insert I got was goldy gallery which I got for a Wilson gold parallel on huddle and then I just got better from there.

lol, i started BUNT mid last season and got some decent cards, my friend got a mystery cutch when the asg started coming out and everyone thought they were the best so i ended up trading his cutch for 3 haha. Then i went to huddle and realized huddle isnt the best , my opinion, and now here i am on bunt with some decent cards

I remember when there was no NFS section on the card list. It was soo hard to find cards that were good on it.
