If you were on at the beginning of this year then you know what the sounds of BUNT were like. Spamming, scamming, and points. There was no 30 seconds per post limit. Cards were not stacked, you would just see Freddy Freeman after Freddy Freeman. You could have as many accounts as you wanted, which is how most of the people got so many cards. People weren't banned. The staff was Woody and Toppslarry. If you remember something I didn't get to, post it here.

This was the time I joined and I wasn't smart enough to make backup accounts.

At the very beginning of the season there were no inserts, until the end of May when Chris Getz came along. For around one week in mid May (after all 7 series were released) there was not a single NFS card in the game (except B&W cards) and people traded based off of how skilled players were and guys like Hefner and Lyles were terrible trade bait! The scamming era didn't start till the beginning of June when they implemented promo codes for the first time (gotservers worth 1000 coins and topps worth 2!). Like Tim said, people had accounts on accounts, that was the original way of cheating the system, although since essentially 90% of the Bunt community did this it wasn't considered to be cheating until Bunt put the limit on it

Justin upton was on fire at the beginning of the season and his card was in high demand .. Bunt decided to release bj before Justin making us wait a few weeks if I remember right

The news feed got maybe 5-15 posts on every article. Topps introduced comment contests where they would ask questions and award 250, 500 and 1000 coins to the top 3 responses.

One nice feature TOPPS added half way through the 2013 season was the "What I Need" and "What They Need" in the trade sort/filters. Up until then, it was difficult to determine what you needed from someone that you were trading with. Also, the "Ignore Trades" addition helped a little with weeding out Users that continually spam you with bad trades, hoping you'll accidentially accept one. The "Scammer Award" never seemed to take off and be very useful.

At the very beginning of the season, most of the "superstar" cards were NFS and only users from the 2012 season had these cards. These NFS cards were in high demand since they were very limited. Players like Mike Trout and Bryce Harper went for crazy prices. Chris Davis was a hot commodity in early April because of his torrid start to the season. As the season progressed, Topps began to release more base series cards so that users could obtain the cards of players who had not been added. The only issue with this was that players like Jairo Ascencio who were labeled as "super rare" when first released--yet did not or hardly played--went for insane prices just for the fact that they were "super rare".

The very first card that went NFS was Yu Darvish. Shortly after it became NFS, Darvish was high in demand. To most users, there did not seem to be enough in circulation for everyone. It was very chaotic. During the duration of the season, Topps made more and more cards NFS. Every time this occurred, those players' cards quickly became in high demand, no matter how good or bad those players were during at that point in the season.

For a while the only way you could get coins was from buying. Then they came out with the daily and weekly bonuses

I remember I pulled a Kevin Millwood retired card (not the B/W one) in my first pack and ended up trading it for like Jeter sig on my first day. The retired cards weren't worthless like they are now.
