I literally ordered it yesterday and it should come on Wed. He's my fav player of all time so Im definitely reading it lol. Once Im done I'll let everyone know how it was....

As an avid Yankees fan, Mariano was by far one of my favorite players - he and Bernie Williams always exhibited the greatest humility and grace on and off the field. I just ordered the book as well and am looking forward to reading it. Also, just have to plug this, check out Bernie Williams' jazz albums. Good stuff.

Can't remember the last fiction book I read on my own time. (Wasn't forced to read it) I am more of a non-fiction guy. I love biographies specifically athletes. I highly recommend RA Dickey's book "Wherever I wind up", and Dirk Hayhurst's 2 book series. Dirk's are hilarious and are a mature read.
