It seems odd for them to release a series like this all at the same time. What do you think the rarity of these cards will be?

It seems odd for them to release a series like this all at the same time. What do you think the rarity of these cards will be? I have had terrible odds. I wanted to get the opinion of the group on these. Last night I opened 40 packs of Gypsey Queen, which yields 200 cards at 140K coins. From those packs I pulled only 9 golds and not even 1 Gypsey Queen. I am considering contacting Topps as I did not feel like those packs were loaded with the insert. The chance of opening that many with no hits - that has to be extremely unlikely. Thoughts or Suggestions? |

Agreed - I collect GQ "real" cards. So I opened a pack and immediately pulled a Cain and one of the new home run inserts. Thinking these would be loaded, I think I have now opened 30 packs and only pulled one other insert - Garza GQ, but other good cards like Home Run inserts and golds/silvers. But the odds seem very high. So I am not collecting this set

I wasn't sure of the rarity, so last night I traded Teheran gypsy for Pujols 500...I guess I should've waited but oh well

So some of the Gypsy Queen cards are rarer than others - Tanaka and Adam Jones are the two hardest to pull. They're in there and if I had to put odds on pulling one, I'd say 1:50 - 1:75.

Just spent 47k on Gypsey Queen packs. Did not hit on any Gypsy Queens but I did get a Hunter Going Yard. I find that odd!

Nicely done! I'm many packs in and have only four of them. The latest trade request was ridiculous--my Beltran GY, Getz Sig and Price LL for Jones GQ and Satin FC. At those rates, I may cut my losses and see what I can get for them.
