This is so annoying whenever I see people posting this on trade talk. I mean, sometimes it's legit but half of the time it's guys that joined in April or May. Heck, last week I saw a guy who joined in June advertising that he was new, but guess what? He joined in June 2013! These people are obviously trying to take advantage of kind veterans and I hate it. Lying should be a punishable offense!

I joined in August of 2012 and I consider myself new. Maybe played it for a couple of days back then and rediscovered this app a couple of weeks ago. So not all people are lying. With that said, I wouldn't advertise myself as new on the trade feed because that also invites some of the so-called kind veterans to come and take advantage of the noob. Unfortunately, it works both ways.

Plus lots of these guys are users with multiple accounts, who just made a new account, claiming to be new. You can usually tell if it's a backup account because they'll only have like 1-2 friends

Just as bad are the guys who still claim to be new and have done over 100 trades but want our donations so we can be nominated for the friendly fan award. I don't mind helping new users but at some point you have to stand on your own two feet. You can't ride donations to a 70 collection score.

I completely agree it just gets super annoying when you donate once and next thing you know they are offering trades for your great cards because they are big name players. Then I feel bed ignoring them. |
