Holy cow. A lot more complicated than my predictions. I am interested in that kind of data and analysis and would love a lesson in that field. I've got little knowledge on how to do any of it.

Actually I agree with this for the most part...however I really think the Reds and Royals will have playoff caliber over .500 seasons. Also the Phillies will be in front of the Marlins, they'll still suck but they won't be in last

I agree. The one thing u can't quantify is health of a player reds had a lot of injures to deal with. As phillies.
Injuries are always an equalizer in sports. U don't know how much effect that one player/players could have on your team

I would love to see my 3 Favorite teams to clinch a playoff birth (rays, dodgers, nationals)

Coming from a fan of both team I really don't see how the Rockies will only be 1 game better then the Astros.....

Coming from a fan of both team I really don't see how the Rockies will only be 1 game better then the Astros..... Probbably because the Rockies have a "weaker" team this season than last. Lost Helton and Betancourt, traded away Fowler, who knows if CarGo and Tulo will have fully healthy seasons. 'Stros have a lot of up and coming players: Dominguez, Altuve, Castro, Fields, Villar, Martinez, Cosart, Springer... I could go on and on.

They still signed Latroy Hawkins, and traded for Lyles and Brett Anderson to fill their starting pitching need. Also signed Morneau to replace Helton.

They're probably basing it on the fact that Tulo and CarGo didn't play the whole season, and I wouldn't really have that much confidence in Lyles or Anderson. Hawkins is a good, low-key, veteran signing and Morneau was a good sign as well. I do agree with you though that the Rockies should be a lot better than the Astros this upcoming season.

I think this is pretty much on the dot. There are a couple of things I disagree but for the most part great. Hopefully the Braves will win the division though.
