Do you guys thing the 10 card ROOKIE Packs (base only) with a 20% chance of super rare and 27% chance at scarce for 500 coins is a good deal?
I wish I had saved some coins rather than wasting them on other regular priced packs with inserts. I pulled a few Strasburg, Kershaw, Cueto, Wacha & Braun golds in the rookie packs. I think they're only available for 2 days. I'm gonna guess days 3-5 after you create an account.
I know its only base cards, but from a value perspective I feel like its pretty good.

I made an account on my wifes phone and sent some coin cards to it from my account so I could load up on the rookie packs and they suspended me  I had to email them and explain that the way its worded in the terms and conditions, it's technically only a violation if there are multiple accounts on the same device. Having a 2nd account on another device while having the same net effect doesn't actually violate any rules. It seems like a decent amount of people have 2nd accounts though. No? I loaned the swisher/gwynn dual sigs to 2 people today and they both sent them through 2 or 3 accounts. |

Yes topps manipulates the rules however they choose. Cycling through accounts is being targeted. My wife got a new phone and I set up a bunt account, cycled some coin cards, and that account was suspended immediately. Getting to be ridiculous IMO.

The rookie packs are only available for a limited time after signing up (5 days or so). Made a new Android account. 1st day have 5 cards for 200 coins. 2nd day was 7 for 300 and 3-5 was 10 for 500. All old packs stayed so you could pick between the 3 but the 500 coiner had 20% super rare. Unfortunately the only SR's in there were Pedroia, Jeter, Cutch, Puig and Trout.

I wouldn't have had an issue with them locking the 2nd account I made, but they locked up my primary account. It actually kinda cost me a shot at getting the turkey red Jeter bc I couldn't make any trades for 3 days prior to the award being distributed... Got it unlocked now, but seems a little ridiculous.

And what's really different from loaning our coin cards to friends compared to cycling coin cards through extra accounts you have on other devices?

This kind of makes me think twice about loaning cards. What happens if I loan out good cards, then that person transfers it to their other account then gets locked out. Then what?

The rookie packs are a ridiculously good deal. Even if all the Super Rares are common as hell and the MoA are pretty much worthless now, it still gives you a ton more trade ammunition than you'd otherwise have. Buy a 5k pack and you might get an insert if you're lucky. Buy 10 of the 500 packs and you'll end up with a load of Super Rares and MoA.

say you loan it out, guy trades the coin cards to 3 different accounts, then back to you... who's to say they won't think that all 4 of the accounts involved are yours?
accounts were on different email addresses. I imagine it was the IP address, the timing of the trades, and the fact that I traded anything decent I got immediately back to my main account.

You can't pull the inserts, and I definitely got an abnormally high number of Trouts, Pedroia's, Puig's, Jeter's and Miggy's, but I also got a few Kershaw's, Strasburg's, Wacha's, Miller's and Hosmer's. Which I kept some of, but turned around and traded most for inserts. |
