Miggy with the guaranteed big points, Trout with the youthful speed and 5 tool play or Cutch with the sick dreds and pop in his bat?

Trout. For me just due to his age. But I hate picking guys that high from west coast. Never get to watch the games.

Would this league be a keeper league because that would factor into my choice

Gotta go with the South Jersey kid in Trout. He grew up rooting for the phillies just like me.

If it's a keeper league, you can't pick against Mike Trout as a position player. As a pitcher, it's very close between Clayton Kershaw & Jose Fernandez. Kershaw is still young enough to carry your franchise for years to come and Fernandez, barring injury, will be your Ace for the next 15-20 years! If you're picking on a yearly new draft league, you have to go with the "Now" guy and that guy is Miguel Cabrera! Cabrera, had he not been injured for the second half of the season, could have easily been right there competing for his second straight Triple Crown. Hell, even injured, he was! For a pitcher, Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw won another Cy Young last year and even when he's bad, he's still pretty good. Consistently, sub 3 ERA and he brings it every year. With the Dodgers payroll jumping into the NY Yankees West, Magic and Co. are going to bring the talent to back up Clayton's arm on a yearly basis. All he has to do is stay consistent and the Wins will keep him in the Cy Young talk every single year.

I had a first pick this year and I got Trout. He is a great all-around player.
