Last year we were asked during the Legends fans choice who we wanted as a card. Jackie Robinson was said A LOT.
Was just wondering why Topps haven't come out with a card for him? Is it a rights issue like Ichiro?

Why has Topps been regulated to players such as Jeff Burroughs and David Clyde for old inserts?

Fans choice cards in 2013 were a joke. They already had them planned they just wanted it to seem as if we were calling the shots. Ever wonder why Orlando Cepeda was the first card for the rare fc set last year? Who actually picked him? I remember guys like Clemens, bonds, Ruth, Aaron, mays and mantle were top picks, but no, the fans somehow picked Orlando Cepeda.

Yeah, I remember the thread they asked us all in filled with those names and a buzz of excitement for the cards and the fact Topps seemed like they were listening to us. "Any cards you want" they said.....The only player they confirmed they couldn't do was Ichiro. If they couldn't do any of those players, I'm not sure the point of even asking us. Another ill thought out series and thread. IT was predictable for who we'd all say. "Fans Choice" turned out to be very ironic. |

I'm still waiting for a Roberto Clemente card. Orlando Cepeda will have to do for now.
