The Final Vote contenders were announced Sunday night:
AL: SP Richards (Angels), SP Kluber (Indians), SP Sale (White Sox), SP Porcello (Tigers), SP Keuchel (Astros) NL: 1B Morneau (Rockies), 2B Rendon (Nationals), 1B Rizzo (Cubs), 3B McGhee (Marlins), OF J. Upton (Braves)
I created a poll where you can choose 2 out of the 10 players who you think should be All-Stars. I recommend choosing one of the NL and one of the AL.
Comment below who you guys think deserves a spot on the All-Star team and why!

Also note that if a pitcher pitches that Sunday before the All Star Game, he will not be able to pitch in the game and will be replaced by someone else on the roster. Currently, MASAHIRO TANAKA is scheduled to pitch Sunday.

I went with Morneau and Sale. IMO the 2 most deserving. Can't beleive Sale wasn't picked but Scherzer was. Richards will replace Tanaka. Currently Tanaka, Cueto, MadBum, Ross and (Insert NL Pitcher here) are scheduled to pitch sunday

Looking at everybody else's votes, I had to be the guy to dare to be different. There are 3 guys out of all those names that deserve to be on the All Star Game more than anybody else... They are all in the AL & they are all pitchers. Chris Sale should already be there, as should Garrett Richards & Corey Kluber. Richards is just solidifying himself as the ace of this Angels team whether he knows it or not & with Wilson & Weaver ' those bats, anything can happen. Kluber is a bright spot on a relatively disappointing season so far for the tribe. Last year was his coming out party & this year is his Prom. Kluber is a strikeout machine & belongs in the ASG. In the NL you could make points for pretty much everybody but, there's a reason Ryan Zimmerman has been playing Left Field & his name is Anthony Rendon. He's got a great glove, a hot bat, & due to his play, they've shifted players around just to accommodate him. It's still early in his career so, it may not be in his cards for an ASG appearance this year but, keep your eye on him. The best is yet to come.

I agree completely. Sale is going to win the AL Final vote and he should. I've still voted for Kluber over 100 times but he's not winning the vote. Tanaka will not be eligible to pitch in the ASG since he is scheduled to start Sunday. Either Kluber or Richards will get that spot. I think it goes to Richards. Encarnacion is on the DL so another spot is open. It should go to Kluber but they may opt to replace a position player with another position player. I wouldn't be mad if Porcello made it though.
There's a possibility that Sale, Richards, and Kluber could all make it.

I'll post the pic in a bit, but if you check out out our blog on buntersdigest.com, you can see how the BUNT opening page will look like during ASG, and how the Trout ASG card looks like

Rizzo deserves it. He was the Cubs leader now and he's only 2 HR behind Stanton for the lead.

Rizzo is hot. Does that make him an all-star? No. IMO Morneau should and likely will still make it. He has a whole country plus multiple states pushing him through. Rizzo hit 3 home-runs in 3 days. Melky Cabrera did that too but he isn't an all-star.
