Do not trade with JACOBPRESTON!!! He is a big scammer!! He scammed me out of 9 HR Derby cards. So pissed I got ripped off cause I have lent out so many cards and this is my first scam and lost so many valuable cards. So I'm warning you guys before you fall into the same trap.

Horrible...sorry to hear.
This is why I tend to not lend and if I do you best have collateral that is well worth more than what is being lent out. My rules since I'm not the one in need of lending.

I only have where we made the deal. Then I sent him a trade and told him to accept when he gets the award. And he must have declined or something because it disappeared and is not showing up in my cancelled trades. When I went to his cards, they are no longer there so he must have traded them away.

Ok I think it worked!! Thanks for the help!! But yeah I only have where we agreed to the trade then when I sent a trade back and told him to accept when he got the award he declined or something cause it disappeared and he doesn't have the cards.

Yeah, typical scam. I ask for major collateral when folks want to borrow unless I have a standing relationship with the person and oftentimes the person will still provide decent collateral. I once had a guy asking to borrow a sig and he wanted to give me some random gold card. I looked through his collection and countered with a couple of sigs, stating that this was collateral to ensure that he wouldn't run off with the cards. He got pissed and said that I'd be the one running off with his cards. Like a bank, I have terms and conditions. |

Yeah I'm learning I can't be nice like usual. I guess I just trust too easily. Just sucks cause I don't get a ton of rare inserts and that set was the only set I've collected of value that I could trade for good inserts and cards. So that's why I'm really upset.
