I tried out hitters but fell into a huge hole. Pitchers are still the way to go

Well I played mainly pitchers tonight. I'm sitting inside top 100. I tried getting hitters in when I saw good results; but, no lag that I noticed tonight so with the load times I missed gaining pts that way. It only worked one time out of the 4 or 5 that I tried which happened to be much to my dismay Harper hitting the bomb off of KRod. Even still with losing 1k from early HRs on Stras & Eovaldi (switched them out right after losing the 1k for the HRs) I'm still at 6k+ pts for tonight. If I had more Golds I'd be even higher; but I'm running with a lesser collection than some of you guys may have.
On another note wtf is this BS of the app telling you "You have to wait x amt of time as you are out of moves" when you have 12 or more moves left??

Yeah. Seems to be pitchers still rule. I tried sneaking batters in on big hits. Seemed to be 20% successful, BUT, the two times I was able to get them in, prob got me close to 5,000 pts in total. The warmup kills the chances for sneaking a batter in. Plus I drained my plays quickly.

Yeah, I went with pitchers, it was up and down for me at first. I was steady at top 700 overall and then dropped to 1400. The only time I put in a hitter was Kinsler GOLD when bases loaded, but eventually I made it back from 1400 to 310ish

Mostly I think it'll still be pitchers rule, but my Adam Jones gold card says he scored 650 points tonight. For real?! I wish I'd played him all night!

If you pick the right batter at the right time, you can do VERY well. But, it's like trying to catch lightning in a bottle. I'm lucky to have 3 Felix Fires. Pitched as well as one can hope. His fire card got 1,xxx pts. Guess they didn't figure on cards getting a 1,000+ pts! |

But yes, pitchers still rule. Next week, they may change the plays/warmup, to make batters rule. Well that'll be tough unless they fix the issue of users getting an error about no plays left when you have 40 plays...happened to me quite often this evening. |

Yeah. Last 2 evenings I'm getting that error. Looks like the app and server are not agreeing on our play count. Probably new code to combat the folks that were changing the clock on their iPhones to get more plays. Obviously a bug somewhere that's getting to us. Frustrating none the less.

Not scored this bad since I started....and pitchers rule supreme and so I continue with that and I don't get how the scoring is so different yet pitchers continue to score so well when most categories are negative d |
