Ever pass up a Steal?

I don't blame anyone for accepting trade steals at all, I've hit accept pretty quick on a couple since starting a few weeks ago but I've also really undersold some cards at the same time without realizing it.



I was just wondering if anyone has some stories from times that it's too good of a steal so they decline and comment telling the other dude the true value of the cards.

If I'm getting great value for one of my cards, even if I really want it, I accept out of principle. My logic is that I can always replace it somehow for less... So having said that, anytime I've been offered a steal I have accepted.

Yesterday someone offered me a Tulo Sig, a Seattle Dual sig and a ortiz black boost for my HOF set. I waited a minute to think about it and in the interim the person cancelled the trade... There have also been a few that I saw that were cancelled before I ever had a chance to notice the offer that were no brainers.

Just yesterday, I accepted a trade that was a bad trade but I thought it was a steal at first. I was giving May League Leaders Samardijza (sold out at 1000) and some golds for Player of the Week Rizzo. Rizzo's card count was around 385. Today, I checked again, and Rizzo's card count was over 1300. Ugh.

I've passed up a steal or two when it involved me giving up a Marlins card. I'm too attached to see them go, although I did trade Stanton Sig so I will take the steal if it crosses a certain mental threshold. Trout Fire, JV Sig, Bird Sig, and Tulo UC was way too convincing.
