I can understand the FIN packs being gone, they all sold out from the "magic pack", but I'm guessing they pulled the UC packs for a bit to try and keep the pop numbers down. The FIN and Silver Stars (which the packs are still available) have card counts, the UC series did not. I pulled a half dozen of the UC out of the magic packs and thankfully traded them all away for FIN that I needed. With 10,000 packs sold, without doing the math, I'm going to guess half of that 10,000 was UC cards.

I did the math elsewhere, you're right. At least 5k were the UC

Here's the problem with pulling the UC packs though, there are basically no Trout, Cano, and Felix in circulation as I don't believe they were in the Grey pack or Ian's pack. This just makes it impossible to complete the set.
