What is point of them issuing the series 1 and series 2 of the TBT cards for the past couple weeks, awards will only be given on the series 2 cards so why even issue the series 1 and why are people collecting these?

They got rid of the base only packs, the "high" 5 & 3 packs have inserts... On iOS anyway.

something tells me they will do something for the ppl that collect all the 1st edition ones. gotta be some reason why they are splitting them. kinda silly if you ask me, esp for the TBT series. maybe for another insert series - and all it is is a logo on the card. oh well.

I really hate this concept, not so much because of the two editions (though I think that's pretty useless) but I really love the TBT concept and collecting classic card designs. The "2nd Edition" logo just ruins that. If I got a 1st Edition I would just trade it for something, all you need is the 2nd Edition anyway.
I'm so much of a purist regarding the TBT collection that I don't think they should have included the Killebrew ASG card. It's not a classic card design. Pick a great Killebrew card that was actually issued instead, that I would have liked.

I think it's to appeal to hard collectors since these are fairly easy to get and does not appeal to collectors that like all sets under 500.
