I went by bWAR for choosing players. I know this thread will get a ton of heat for Bonds and Rodriguez, but steroids aside they were incredible. If you choose other please say who you would pick and why. Also I believe Mike Trout is to young in my opinion to be considered the best ever, you just never know he could be the next Cesar Cedeno.

Im going with the Say Hey Kid. Hes a pretty big name where I live (SF obviously) and was a great player during his time. we all know about his "catch" and im going to say he was the best 5 tool player. He could hit, field, and hit with pop. Now it comes down to speed. I had him vs Ruth as the best position player but the speed on the base paths category goes to mays. to score their skills (1-10 per category) i would give ruth a 40 and mays a 42.
