Someone sent me a trade offer with the following message attached "swap 9 white base you need for 9 white base I need?"
It seemed like I was getting the better players in the deal, so I was just about to click accept, then I noticed that one of my 9 white base was in fact an Ortiz black boost.

its funny (or not). almost every time i offer up free cards (today was another day, i unloaded about 1k whites and greens and completely wiped them out) someone takes a batch and then must think i'm blindly hitting accept and they try to sneak in a sig (or two). its sad. a chance to load up on a ton of cards for your collection and fill out team sets for possible card/milestone bonuses and then you go and do that? oh well. easy block/ignore. its too bad we dont have a list of all the folks we should be ignoring. i guess the main reason why is that it would be far too long a list to even worry about.

I feel like if you're paying even the slightest bit of attention a sig would be pretty noticeable. The black boost cards at quick glance could easily pass for a white base card. Has me wondering if I ever accidentally accepted one in the past.

What's the FAN name of the scumbag so we can all know who to avoid? Also, if you need white commons to complete your commons, hit me up. I won't throw in a damn Ortiz Boost. Just send me one common and take whichever 9 you need.

Had the same thing happen with my Rizzo Boost before I traded it. I caught it and called the kid out on it. He laughed and said oh well, block me, I got three boosts this way.
Those boosts look way too close to a normal white card

Why not create a list of traders who are clearly scammers? A lot of members here have some pretty valuable cards that others may try to slip out of their collections in trades like these. If we keep an active thread with explanations of what the person di, maybe even screenshots so that people aren't just being vindictive, individuals can review and add them to their blocked list. Yeah, the list is probably enormous, but if it helps some of the community, isn't it worth it?

One of the things I like most about this site is the amount of help that everyone gives to each other, whether its advice, lending cards or sending trades to help someone fill a collection. Anything we can do to help each other seems worthwhile. |

Nobody tried it with Wright but with Rizzo I've had 4 or 5 since last night that tried. One played the long game and gave me 2 trades in my favor for whites and then on the third tried to slip it in. The last 1 was 2 UC and 1 POTW and I told him I didn't want to take advantage with 9 commons... He told me it was his pleasure. I thought he'd know I knew and cancel. Oh well, gave me the chance to give him 1 star.

he tried it twice, didn't notice it the first time, I declined him saying that he was taking singles.
this second trade said "dupes for dupes" in the message and then "Gave you better cares because I have not white dupes"
