...and TOPPSMIKE has now made me defend Red Sox fans. Wow! That really makes me stop and think what's going on with the Empire bias. Thanks for defending baseball from a historical perspective.

Janzaruk - I loved this comment from TOPPSMIKE: "rings speak louder than batting titles. And Boggs went into the Hall as neither a Yankee nor a Red Sox." Ok, does TOPPSMIKE know anything about baseball history? And, yes, Luis Sojo is INFINITELY better than Ted Williams because Luis Sojo has a ring. SMH! Stop making us true Yankees fans look bad, TOPPSMIKE!!! That is just.....EPIC. And to get you, a Yankee fan, to defend them is even more amazing. Next thing you know, I'lll wear Dodger blue. Where did you see that comment? I miss out on all the great Mike quotes.

So it was a TOPPSMIKE decision? Makes sense now. Do we really need 15 Yankees sigs this season? It's bad enough that the sig chase has two Yankees (Jeter and Tanaka) but now two of the three sig chase rewards are Yankees, too (Berra, Boggs). I know there a lot of Yankee fans out there and on this app, but there are teams without any sigs at all (INCLUDING THE RED SOX). This just enrages me, even if I wasn't going after this sig. The sad thing is that I welcome diversity when it comes to collecting and seen the fourth Yankee signature is killing it. In a way it devalues the Berra sig for me since it is not as special with another Yankee HoF sig. It is ridiculous that the reward for collecting 20 hard to get sigs are two Yankee HoF. Why not a Willie Mays? Why not any of the other players featured as Golden Moments? I mean, you have so many possible players to choose from and you not only select a Yankee, but a player that is known for having played for the RED SOX during his prime. It makes no logical sense. I'm a Yankee fan but I'm also a fan of the game and understand that the game is bigger than any team. This explains why TOPPSMIKE has no bloody clue that Boggs went into Cooperstown as a Red Sox player and still believes that having a ring is greater than being one of the greatest in the sport. Just annoys me because it makes me, as a Yankees fan, look bad. OH GOD NOT WILLIE! I'd never get it! PLUS, my money is on Willie Mays/Willie McCovey as the Legendary Dual, which is why my Sig focus has been on Duals.

I was the one who send the tweet asking why smyly didn't have a card
They made cards for Prado, Headley and Capuno who all didn't have cards before but didn't make a card for a few others that were traded.
Why should Capuno get a card? Only because he is a Yankee? Because that's really the only reason why he got a card.
On a side note Mike Carp was claimed off waivers by the Rangers 3 days ago and his card is not sold out yet.

Jason Frasor got traded to the Royals just before the trade deadline and is not sold out yet. And of course, J.D. Martinez has been listed with the wrong team all year, has now been listed as sold out with presumably no points, and is scoring a decent number of points, so of course he shouldn't be replaced. Oh wait, yes he should. I'm fine with Headley getting a card, should have had one all along, Prado maybe, certainly not Capuano. Why does Pineda, who only maybe will start again this year get a card late in the season? For goodness sakes, there's a Zoilo Almonte card, not to mention a million Yankees inserts. Could you imagine how many Suzuki cards they would have if they had the rights. And if it's not a new Yankee card, it's an old Yankee, as Solarte got a base card too. I may be a Mets fan, but I'm really generally not anti-Yankees, but enough is enough. Hey at least the Tigers fans got 7 million David Prices to make up for it, right?

Wasn't there some possibility that Boggs was going to try and go into the Hall as a member of the Rays, I think the Hall stepped in and made it be a Boston cap, which is only right. I think it started a stretch where the players didn't get to pick which is clearly over now since Maddux chose not to have a team (despite his solid performance with the Cubs, I think he should have gone in as a Brave).
