Who do you think will be the biggest flop of the season and why?

Are we talking biggest flop as a team (if so then definitely Yankees) or as a single player?

He had a good year last year but I feel he may revert back to his Marlin-Days. Actually I was going to make a top 5 list of potential flops and I was going to include Hanley in it but here I go anyways: 1. Jacoby Ellsbury, way too much money to a player who is very injury prone and I see that money going the way it did for players like Pujols. 2. Hisashi Iwakuma, Already injured to start out the year and I don't see him coming close to how he pitched last year. 3. Hanley Ramirez, Like you said he's very up and down and I think he also will revert back 4. Masahiro Tanaka, he could end up being really good but I'm not a believer in paying that much to an unknown player (Yankees also struggle with guys like this Igawa, Irabu, Wang, etc. Although Wang did have one good year) 5. Billly Hamilton, I'm rooting for Billy but I see it as him either being a good enough hitter that he becomes a star or he just falters and gets off on the wrong foot and finds himself in AA before the All-Star break.

I agree with you with Billy. Biggest thing depends on if he can hit, which I think he can from what I have seen. If he can he has a potential to be in the running for Rookie of the Year.

I see him winning Rookie of the Year easy if he can average around .270, Tavares, Wong, Bradley, Baez, etc. will give him a good run but if he can stay constant I'd give it to him. A darkhorse I'd really watch out though for is Gregory Polanco of the Pirates, if he makes the Big Club early in the season he could definitely challenge Billy.

I'm not sure if you can call him a flop when his statistics at the end of 2013 with Texas weren't that good at all to begin with.

Cool. I think Billy just needs to stay healthy and hit. He already has catchers and pitchers. SCARED by him

U can when teams spend big money for them as if they are going to be great. A flop is a flop even if it's consecutive years.

Yasiel Puig. It's bold but I'm still not 100% impressed by him

Yasiel Puig. It's bold but I'm still not 100% impressed by him Good pick fragile ego could set him spiraling down. His high are really high and lows are really low

Yasiel Puig. It's bold but I'm still not 100% impressed by him Good pick fragile ego could set him spiraling down. His high are really high and lows are really low Every one thinks he'll hit a ton of homers but if his average is below .245, and hits like 20 or fewer bombs, i would consider giving their 4th OF a shot
