Last year Chris Davis almost came out of nowhere and DEMOLISHED the American League. Who do you think will do that this year. Notable break-outs in years past include Jose Bautista.

He will have a decent year about same but hr will be lower I believe. He fit red hot last year and it lasted longer than normal. He was a beast. He carried my fantasy team last year. I picked him past two years

In my opinion the biggest breakout last year wasn't even Chris Davis it was Jose Fernandez but both were stellar last year. Anyways my opinion for the top 5 breakout seasons are: 1. Sonny Gray 2. Yan Gomes 3. Xander Bogaerts 4. Masahiro Tanaka 5. Billy Hamilton.
Yep my 4 and 5 are the same on both biggest surprises and biggest flops, that's how good/bad those two could be.

I think Will Middlebrooks will have a strong power year because he needs to show what he is capable of. Last year he had tons of power until after his 3 home run game he did awful and got sent down but i think he will improve this year

I hope that Jeter can end on a solid note. Not necessarily an amazing .400 season, but a better than average year. I just want to believe that Jeter didn't end his career to late, and ended with some mystery about what he may have been able to do if he could have played for a couple more seasons. It is also fun to see somebody stick with one team from the beginning, even from the Yankee FARM SYSTEM of all things. I want him to go out like Lou Gerhig, who had to end his career, but the mystery is there with what he would have been able to do if he never got ALS.

Bobby abreu. Low risk high reward! I wouldn't put any money on that but I'd love it to happen!

I wouldn't say Davis came out of nowhere. He was known for being a power bat before last season. He had just never put it together quite like this past season.
If you're looking for a breakout player--and this probably as low-key as it gets--look for Alexander Guerrero to take over the starting second baseman spot for the Dodgers by the end of April. He's going to have a terrific season, I can feel it.
Another guy that I feel will have an amazing season is Michael Choice. He hasn't really figured it all out yet, especially with his playing time having been scarce, but now that he's getting an opportunity to compete for a bench spot with the Rangers, I think he may turn into a deadly platoon power hitter, and maybe even more than that if given enough playing time.

Im going with Madison Bumgarner. He's finally getting a chance to be the Opening Day starter over Cain and i see him having a great year. I'm going with 14-9record with a 2.98-3.35era.
