Who is the best hitter and pitcher you ever had the pleasure to witness play in the major leagues in person?
I'd say two recent retirees in my case in Vladimir Guerrero and Roy Oswalt. Guerrero just hit these screaming line drives that I swear could kill a person if they ever got directly in the way of one, plus he could hit absolutely anything. Now I've got to see essentially all top Phillies pitchers of the 2000s from Wolf to Halladay but the best I ever saw pitch in a game was Oswalt. His 12-6 curve just dropped off the table and boy could he mix up pitches.

One of my first games I got to see Greg Maddux pitch with the Dodgers. Way out of his prime, but was still very cool to see.

There were like the most future hall of gamers in that all start game than any other I think.

Nolan Ryan pitch. And hitting hard to say I've seen everyone from bonds to jeter I wish I could've seen guys like Ryan and Carlton but I'm too young for that. I really wish I could've seen Pedro because I watched him on TV all the time as a kid but unfortunately never got to see him in person back in the early 2000s
