I just started Bunt this year, although I'm an American football fan by nature (can't wait for Huddle). Since this past World Cup, I've started appreciating futbol a lot more, so I'm excited to get my feet wet in Kick.

I echo samowamo's sentiments and I would appreciate all the help I can get because I don't know much about soccer.

First off, Kick has (at least from what I have seen) a much nicer community. You dont see as many people scamming (they're still are some, just not as many) and there are people out there who are willing to give away free cards (like a 9-1 trade) from their duplicate collection.
As far as not knowing much about Soccer, thats ok. Just try to have fun and learn as you go. With a new PTS system we are all learning what positions will do well and which ones wont so you're right there with us. I would say pick a favorite team, player, etc and go after them.
Any questions let me know =)

Bigger name stars (guys I would know) are in EPL right? Do people actually watch MLS?

lol yes people watch MLS. It is growing by leaps and bounds, with several expansion teams coming next season (GO ORLANDO CITY!!)
I personally am collecting both BPL and MLS because I am familiar with both leagues and the stars in each. As far as where to start with, are you going for collecting, PTS or both? For PTS you want to go after the high scorers like forwards & goal keepers. If you're about collecting (like myself) you go after the teams & players you like, sometimes having to overpay to get what you want.
As for Bundesliga, there are several BIG names (Robben, Schweinsteiger, Goetze, etc) but I am trading for them rather than buying packs because (at least for me) there are far too many players I dont know since games are nto televised here in the US.
Again any questions let us know =)

I'm new to Kick as well, just trying it out for now. I have to say the cards are probably the best looking of any of the Topps apps (I love that Dempsey Street card!). I know nothing about soccer, don't even like it, and I can name maybe a half dozen players in all 3 leagues combined. But despite all this, Kick looks like fun. I'm going to slowly try and collect the base sets for coins, and see if I can pull a sig or two when possible. Seems like Kick could teach a thing or two to the other two apps.

Kick is by far the best run of the 3 Topps apps. good prices, lots of sets to collect and oh yeah, nice card designs. I think it appeals to those willing to pay and the F2P players like myself.

So I'm also new to Kick and I really enjoy it. Topps does a good job of combining fantasy sports with card collecting. So what's the game strategy I should be going for? Trading and collecting, point getting, what? Right now I haven't traded much but I'm big into using my cards to earn points, I really enjoy the fantasy aspect.
Also really wish they would make a hockey one!

Welcome to BHK(BUNT HUDDLE KICK! I too wish they made a hockey one! In my opinion, just trade! People who play the point game have to play 24/7 almost to keep up with each-other! If you have anymore questions, I would be glad to help you as we were all once rookies on here!!

I stared KICK over the summer, but did not really do much with it and then gave all the cards I had away - all older ones anyway. Well, I picked it back up a couple weeks ago after hearing such great things about it and I really like it so far. Cards are great looking, odds are much better than Bunt, packs are reasonable. Two things that I would like any advice on are:
- Trading - it seems to be more difficult trying to match up values to create a fair trade. Gold seem to be worth way more than they are in Bunt and the inserts are all over the map. Any insight? - Points - it seems as using the top teams and their mids and forwards are the way to go, does that seem about right? Defenders and Goalies don't seem to score nearly as much, even on a clean sheet day.
Thank you everyone and I look forward to learning more about Kick and competing as best I can.
