I'm trying to improve my collection by trading huge lots of Golds and Silvers for Sigs or rare inserts. Over 1,000 golds and many more silvers than that to trade. Let's do this!
Highlights:
Kershaw: 2 gold, 7 silver
Cueto: 3 gold 11 silver
Kluber 6 gold 5 Silver
Wainwright 5 gold 4 silver
Scherzer 3 gold 8 silver
Tons of hitters too if you're into that.

I'm guessing many people will be looking to do this soon, with the season wrapping up, and the base cards almost certainly having zero value next season. The folks with multiple Signature cards probably already have their fill of golds and silvers.

worked like a charm for me!  i think i ended up getting about 7 sigs total, nothing great but made it easy to consolidate and retrade for what i wanted. what i did find was, that i had to do most of the selling - meaning, i had to find the "right" buyer within the fan feed (a scary place) but i stuck to 4 star ratings and above and ones that were wanting gold/elite SPs. once i explained what i meant, they got it and were MORE than happy to trade away venturas, grays, murphys, mauers, and hamels for dozens of golds/silvers. |

I guess everyone on this board already got their fill. Guess I was late to the party. actually, i got most of my takers by combing/trolling the fan feed. it took a little while at times but i basically found ppl with multiple venturas/grays/hamels or murphys that were advertising that they wanted elite SPs. once they saw that i had a 4+ star rating and was willing to give them the golds first, then accepted. all were very happy at the end of the day since i overpaid (but sigs are easy to unload, trade, or sell) so i was happy with the exchange. |
