Man, I'd like to see that Cardinals HOF series go the way of the dodo - especially if it's taking the spot of something cool. What is this, week three? The Orioles series sold out in half the time.

i think people are just boycotting the cards. I think they are still more popular then the orioles but the orioles had better players.

Orioles cards looked good. Multiple colors, not just a bright orange border with matching orange shirts. Look at the Ozzie Smith card, the red jersey he is wearing is not even a normal jersey he would have worn, is it? They overdid the cards with all the red, quickly did the award, but no award card, so everyone gave up on it.

This is what happens when the award comes out before the cards are sold out. Why would anyone buy this pack for 5K now? I looked last night and there were still over 300 cards out there before they sell out.

I may be remembering incorrectly, but didn't the Orioles cards make it in to a Black Pack or something like that at one point? That would boost their pull counts if people were getting those while chasing something else.
The problem with the Cardinals set is the award is expired. What's the point of spending your coins on those packs now? If you want those cards, you can trade for them and save your coins for an active set.
They just released Bazooka and GQ2 so we're not exactly hurting for set to chase. Still have WoW as well.

I don't think the award should be given until the pack sells out... or the card production stops with the award being given out. One or the other. What little value this series had to non-Cardinals fans is out the window when you can't even hope to recoup some coins when buying the 5,000 coin pack.
And I agree, the design of the cards left something to be desired, but aren't Cardinals fans "The Best in Baseball?" Buy up the last of these stinkburgers, already!

I think it has everything to do with really unattractive card design, and also no award anymore. I thought for sure these packs would have been discounted by now.
