AS Monaco forward Radamel Falcao has joined Manchester United on loan. This is the cherry on top t a brilliant collection of summer signings by the Red Devils. With Javier Hernandez being loaned out to Real Madrid and Danny Welbeck finalizing a transfer to Arsenal, Falcao will fit right in at Old Trafford.

Falcao was a stupid move by LVG. They already have Rooney and RVP starting, with Welbeck and Chicarito on the bench. LVG gets all happy thinking he can snatch up a star players by getting rid of 2 players worse than him, but all he did was create playing time problems. Bad move by MU

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I meant that by the fact he signed somebody who wants lots of playing time by selling 2 players who were content as impact subs. Chicharito was not content as a sub, not at all. He made it clear last year to Moyes that he wanted out if he wasn't going to be used. Falcao is insurance against a v Persie or Rooney injury, but LVG has shown he is willing to try different formations so I wouldnt be surprised to see a 3-4-3 at some point with all three of them on the pitch at once. But look at it this way....do you really turn down a world-class scorer like Falcao on the off chance someone may be unhappy about their play time? What if Falcao had ended up at Arsenal, Man City or Liverpool? You take who is available and figure it out from there, not pass on talent to see them kick you out of Champions down the road....

I see the point in that-a formation they could use could be this
RVP-Rooney-Falcao Mata Di Maria Cleverly Fellaini Jones Evans Rojo De Gea

I see LVG going with a 3-4-3 formation now: van Persie-Rooney-Falcao Blind-Mata-Herrera-Di Maria Rojo-Evans-Jones

Blind? rotate through week-to-week? Try and convert one to play more defense? We are STACKED at midfield and forward....Maybe we can keep the ball from going past mid and wont need defenders? LOL I see a blockbuster trade in our future at the next window, either Shaw/Blind/Mata sent away for a world-class defender....or maybe that was a dream I had >.>

Shaw and Blind won't go, they've just been bought, with the former having a *very* hefty fee for someone his age. Although, Mata has looked the best midfielder for Man U the last few games, soon to be overtaken by ADM though.

LVG's signings didn't address the problems at the back. THAT was the main thing he had to fix and he's failed to do so.
Falcao's good IF he can stay fit. He's 29 though so buying him for 60mill is a lot for an aging player. RVP was terrible last year. He's always been injury prone and that will only get worse as he advances into his 30's. Rooney too has aged incredibly. He's lost a serious amount of pace, his first touch has been woeful for a couple of seasons and he no longer can beat players. He also inexplicably no longer puts his laces through a shot, rather weakly tries to curl the ball past keepers.
The major problem United have had in recent seasons is Ferguson. Left an awful squad, never replaced Scholes, Keane or Giggs, his signings became more and more eratic, generally he bought horse s**t and he pretty much destroyed Rooney by playing him in midfield and out wide.
