Danny Welbeck has completed a £16 million move from Manchester United to Arsenal. With Olivier Giroud out till January and the only forward on the senior squad for Arsenal being the incumbent Yaya Sanogo, manager Arsène Wenger had to make a move for a forward. Is this the right deal for Arsenal? Did they overpay? How do you think Welbeck will do for the Gunners? Sound off below!

Arsenal didn't need another striker. They have enough mids that they could have played 1 at the front will Sanchez until Giroud was back, and Giroud wasn't even starting before the injury. I also don't think Welbeck was worth £16 million

I also don't think Welbeck was worth £16 million I'm guessing you didn't watch the Arsenal games, so I'll give you a little background. 1. Alexis started up front for the Arsenal game as an experiment. This obviously failed as he was getting beat up by Distin and Jagielka. Wenger gave most of his WC players a game or two off, which is why Giroud was a sub. 2. Podolski and/or Oxlade-Chamberlain are options up front, yes, but when Poldi has played up front, he hasn't done much, and Ox has almost no experience playing up front. 3. Last game, Sanogo played up front by himself and he was plain awful. Can't dribble, was offsides too many times, doesn't know what to do with the ball when he's inside the box. Arsenal needed a true striker to fill that void that Giroud has left behind in his absence, and they got that with Welbeck. 4. I do agree Welbeck was not even CLOSE to being worth £16 million. Then again, PSG paid £50 million for David Luiz so...

Yeah I haven't been able to catch an Arsenal match yet. I saw they didn't lose with 1 at the front so I thought it was working fine.
