Like many of you, I'm after the prizes Jose Altuve sig that was released yesterday. During my search, I came upon a user who had two. I kindly offered for it and asked what his opinion of the offer. To my surprise, this kind use responded and gave me some great info. He bases most of his insert deals on how much those cards are going for on eBay. I had never thought of this beforehand, but I'm sure it will help me out with insert deals in the future; and if you're reading this and did not know that, then you just gained a bit of insight yourself!

Yeah....hence the stupidity of vastly different values of sigs with the same card count. Didn't happen last year. Values were actually somewhat well thought out and not at all short term....

I can understand if someone values a player more than another, but don't tell me Sonny Gray sig (600) is worth more than Altuve Sig (450) if Gray happened to cost more on eBay.

They had starting bids on some sigs for like $1 that I was tempted to buy instead. Got some physicals though. Also saw a Rodgers Kickoff Huddle card for $500!!!

That's why bunt has gotten a bad taste for me and I am fine putting it down until next year

OK....I won't The problem with Ebay as I'm finding is valuation. Values depend on who wants a card in a certain week. Same week I've seen a Cano/Sig go for 25 buy it now and then only 13 at auction.
