Up until today, the only pack of sports cards I had ever opened was digital. I am sorry to those of you that I am disappointing. I am a fraud. After this mugshot debacle, I made a trip over to Walmart today and spent $20 on my first packs of real cards - Panini Football of course.
I haven't opened a pack of cards since my Yugioh days(yes, I am that young). I forgot how incredibly fun it is. I tore open 6 packs, and got a bunch of great physical cards. I pulled a really cool Lacy Endzone, a Peyton Manning Franchise Player, and a EJ Manuel jersey card from when he threw that sick game winning TD to Stevie Johnson last season.
I restrained myself from opening the other 5 packs in the box. I want to save them for a different day.

I am a real card collector. It's addicting as well. I've spent over $200 on real cards in about 6 months in the hobby. It's way more fun though. I'm 13 so I'm young too and just having the actual auto of your favorite players is awesome

I ask for a few packs for Christmas every year to bring me back to my youth. Still have all the cards from the 80's and early 90's sitting in a closet in my parent's house waiting for the day I have room for them in my own house.

When I found Bunt in May/13 I hadn't opened a pack of cards since 92/93 (also showing my age a little haha). Bunt single handedly got me a) back into baseball and b) back into sports cards. I had no idea what was up with cards these days (actual autos, jersey cards, etc etc). I now find myself building a new collection, and I recently found most of my childhood one.
