Idea for signature series

Regarding Huddle becoming paranoid of the NFL coming after them for licensing them for the action shot pictures, they announced that all base and inserts from now on will be head shots. I understand why they did this but to make signatures look better they should use head shots such as the 2013 luck, peyton, rodgers sigs. Like use a picture of their head on the sideline instead of the one they are required to take for the NFLPA.

Yes, I would be okay with this.  A picture on the sideline with the helmet off, or even on the practice field(like the BOBs) would seem like an acceptable compromise.

Problem is that those could still be construed to be "action" shots.

Would still be considered "Action" since they're not profile photos.

I think they're gonna have to be hella creative designing sigs in order for people to really go after them. I mean, they're still gonna be sigs, but people want cards that look cool.

What about shots outside of the stadium. How cool is it if Rodgers sig was a pic of him doing the "discount double check" - no uni, no field, shouldn't run into any rights issues.

They wouldn't do that because they 'might get sued' by the jail for using the mug shots...

i gotta be honest....I would 110% chase this card....not to glorify wife beating.....but this would be an epic card for any collection (think Billy Ripken 87 fleer with F**K Face on the bat)

Maybe the card would be called "Pounding the Rock" Dual Sig LOLOL

I was thinking a "Villain" series - you could set the mugshots in sepia and put Rollie Fingers mustaches on them.  Series would feature Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, Aldon Smith, the rest of the 49ers team, etc.
