Easy to resist with those odds. I'm sure TOPPSMIKE will magically end up with a set before anyone else.

The set is trash and insults the memory of Jeter's career. You want to remember Jeter's career? Make the pack 2000 coins and make 2000 of each card.

Jeter's retiring?!!!
Well, the coverage of this must have been extremely subdued and the Jeter name exploitative merchandising non existant.
I think MLB, Topps etc have missed a trick....thought they'd all be milking this for all it was worth.

Did we really need this? I realize that there is extreme bias towards Yankee anything on Bunt, but I still didn't expect this. Good thing I could care less about chasing these.

Jeter is a generational type player- he deserves a grand exit -

Now we know what to expect when Huddle finds out that Peyton Manning is going to retire (whenever he does)

Since there were four different Jeter inserts still active in this pack, I decided to jump in and try to grab one. I literally pulled the last copy of "Jeter gets 3000 hits." I pulled it, and when I flipped it over the "Sold Out" banner appeared on top, before I even closed the pack!

I'm a somewhat suffering Mets fan (I can remember the 86 world series so there are fan bases that have a superior claim on suffering), but last night was phenomenal. As many have said, had you written a script for the ending last night it would have been rejected for being unbelievable. Jeter has always been and always will be a class act. The game will be less without him as an active player.
Of course, maybe now I can go back to hating the Yankees unequivocally (tough chance, my wife is a Yankees fans and she's already converted my sons as well).

Being a Yankees fan living in Seattle, I wonder if I can make my son into a Yanks fan before the environment turns him into an M's fan. Either way, it'll be fun going to Safeco to watch the games.
